We're one of the lucky couples, both of us working abroad in the Middle East, Rhona was a friend of my Dutch mate's wife Maytie.  According to Maytie, Rhona was the nicest girl she knew and had the nicest legs as well!! shhhh!  Rhona was Manageress of a major British clothes store in Kuwait and I was Regional Sales Director for the largest third party software company in the Middle East.

So we met in January 2000 in Fuddruckers restaurant in Kuwait City, closely chaperoned of course, and now we're both settled in the UK and have been together for more than Eight and a half  years.
